Rocky Road Community Service District maintains the roads in your neighborhood.
In June of 2020, during the pandemic, all five board members of the District quit; road maintenance ground to a halt. During these last three years, the District has struggled to get back on its feet. Consequently, our roads are in need of repair & upgrading.
Good news: the Board is now fully staffed and back in action. With new board members, we are bringing the District into state compliance, upgrading communication, and implementing projects for the new year.
The Rocky Road District has 569 members and each member pays $350 a year. If you doubt you’re a member, look for “Copper Cove /Rocky Rd-csd#2” on the lower left hand corner of your Calaveras Property Tax Bill.
Good roads adds to the value of your house, property and your neighborhood; not to mention ready access for fire, police, and ambulance services. And most of all, recognize this, good roads don’t just happen but are the result of attention and focused maintenance. Your voice matters. Preserve your investment and safety.
